I started this blog because of my experience with various sleep disorders. It always seemed to be one problem after the other, which would only get worse as time went on. This made attending high school and college classes much more difficult. And establishing myself in a new career felt impossible.
For the modern generation, sleep is harder to come by. Distractions are all around us, such as television, video games, and social media. They convince our minds to stay awake for a little longer, and before you know it, it is well past midnight.
It is true that technology has done many things to improve our quality of life. But over time, its addictive side effects can spiral into long-term harm. And let’s face it, we are not going to start living off the grid to ensure that our sleep lasts eight hours a night. We want practical solutions that fit into our lives.
